She’s afraid when he learns of her rebellious past and the danger she brought to her family before turning her life around, he’ll end their courtship. Joel is frustrated his sister left Amish life before his family moved to Charm. He chooses not to tell Ellie about her, until he has no choice. What does the future hold for Ellie and Joel when their secrets are revealed?

My Thoughts

ELLIE'S REDEMPTION is the second book in the Amish Charm Bakery series by Molly Jebber. This book is set in 1921. I really like this time period. I like the factual research that the author has put into it. One of the things that really stuck out in this book is that it focuses on forgiveness and redemption. One of the best thing of this author is that she weaves in God's truth into her stories. Christ forgave us so much when he died on the cross for us. Ellie and Joel are attracted to each other. However, Joel's mother is not to crazy about her - she remembers how she left the community before. This story line is so well written and is so real.

I received a copy of this book through the Celebrate Lit blogging program all thoughts are my own.
